I need to replace some of my exhaust on my 1995 240SX SE. Specifically I need to replace the item that sits behind the front downpipe that connects to the exhaust manifold (the cannister that sits directly under the drivers seat). I refer to it as an item because it looks exactly like a catalytic converter, but I have heard that it is "empty." My questions is: what part number to I ask for if I go into an autoparts store to try and buy it? I have a manual transmission and the car was built in 7/94 if that helps you at all.

Your still OBDI, and yes it is hollow, you can either email Chris from Pinnacle Nissan at [email protected] or go to your local dealer, but Chris will get u a better deal.

The nissan dealer in Columbus Ohio tried to charge me 1000 bucks. Your better off going to the source listed above.
