Hello all,
Let me start at the beginning. I owned my 240 for a few months and the rear brakes started squealing and I figured it would be a good time to replace all of my brakes. I went ahead and put new rotors and pads on the entire car. When I went to examine the rear calipers, I was unable to push the piston back in even using the "piston tool" that I had purchased to rotate the pistons back into place. I assumed that I needed to replace the rear calipers, which I did. After replacing the calipers, I finished the job and bled the system and everything seemed to be going fine. Just the other night I started hearing some squealing from the rear passenger side tire. I inspected it today to find that the passenger side brake pad was almost completely worn down and the wear indicator was rubbing against the rotor. The drivers side rear still has a good bit of meat left on it. I changed the pads roughly 2 months ago and I do not drive my car hard, it's simply my DD. I also still hear the squealing when I'm driving around not just under breaking. Does anyone have any idea what can cause this or why my car burnt through the pads so fast even with two new rear calipers? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
