1995 240sx : belt squeel?

okay when i go over about 3k or 4k rpms, i hear this squeeling sound(kinda like when a belt slips)...im really not sure where it is, sounds like it comes from in the engine, but then it doesnt, is a belt too tight???

like on the highway, when i punch it, it starts making the sound and until i let go of the gas, and then it will stop, and if i rev it, it will squeel too. and it does it either way when the ac is on or not.

Maybe to loose. check your all your belts and see if any have more then a half inch deflection.

hey, thanks, yeah one of my belts was a little loose, i tighted it and now it drives a lot better....and the sound is gone also
