1995 240, PROBLEMS NEED HELP!
Well to start it off, I’m not too competent in autos, but here’s the problem… My 1995 240 is smoking from the exhaust only when I come to a complete stop and than accelerate again (for exp. Complete stop and put gear into neutral, than back into 1st gear to accelerate). The smoke can get pretty bad sometimes, and some days it doesn’t smoke at all. Definitely not low in oil, and have tried to use like a fuel cleaner. Although, the oil level does run out sooner than usual. The smoke is more of a white/grey color. I also have a loud clonking noise from the back of the car; usually when I accelerate or down shift or when car is moving and I press on brakes to slow down. Another issue is that when my car is on or while I’m driving, it will shut down some things but the gar will still work as far as the normal driving functions, but no dash lights, speed meter, rpm gauges, power windows, power locks, windshield wiper, side mirrors, or even heat or a/c will work and I have to wiggle the positive battery wire to get all the automatic stuff working again. Lastly, this is a weird one, but when I have the air setting set to anything else besides the 2nd button which is the button that allows heat/ac to the face and feet, it does this clicking noise consistently. Oh wait, and sorry last one, my heat doesn’t work very well, and it takes my car forever to warm up, especially when it’s cold or it’s snowing, it won’t even warm up or the heat won’t even be worm even after 30 mins sometimes. DESPERATLY COULD USE ANY SORT OF COMMENTS OR HELP… THANKS!
