1995-2000 Maxima, reliable ? any problems ?

I'm looking at the 1995-2000 Nissan Maximas, and i just have some questions i hope you guys can help me out with.

What sort of common problems do these Maximas have ? they are a reliable car ?

They're definitely reliable. You can very easily get more than 200,000 miles out of a Maxima if you keep up basic maintenance.

By the way, that generation is actually 1995-1999. 2000 was the next generation (but also a great car).

Common problems are oxygen sensor failures and other minor electrical/sensor issues. Mechanically the cars are VERY solid. These are easy cars to own and keep running.
