1995 200 sx cup holder

Can I simply install the cup holder or do I need to entire piece, with din, etc. After car was stolen, entire stereo was ripped out, including the cup holder. Had new stereo installed and found cupholder and din (with brackets) but was wondering if I can simply extricate cup holder and slide it in or do I need to install the entire mechanism?

well if the mounting braket is still in there u should b able to just slide the cup holder right in if not then its trial and error rules
