Should I replace my current ridestock ka24de 173xxx km

With this puppy

30xxx clicks on this motor in a pretty standard 94 sentra shell.

So, question is, good idea? bad? haterzz?

Haha, you're located in British Columbia eh? where abouts? I saw that ad today on craigslist, and was thinking of telling my dad about it (cause he's currently looking for another vehicle).

30,000 Kilometers on that SR20? Damn thats pretty clean.

Id say its a pretty good deal, considering you just need a daily driver right?

The B13 is a really good sleeper.Go for it.

Do you use the advantages of the RWD? would you mind owning a fwd car? Ask yourself this what do you do with the 240 that you couldnt do with the sentra. If there is no difference go for it!

Sweet stuff man, but yeah, I would buy the car if I was an old fart, and wanted to have a sleeper. It definitely looks slow from the outside, but damn. . . It will haul a**. But i'd personally rather keep my 95 240sx over that. So it's really all up to you.

As my sig suggests. . . RWD>FWD

Talking about RWD>FWD when car is a daily driver = FAIL

Esp when the FWD is faster than the RWD in a straight lineAnd the RWD never fully utilizes the advantages of it being RWD.

Fast Light FWD > Slow Heavy RWD

I really wonder what all the RWD fanboys do with their cars that makes them hate FWD so much? I can understand the drifters, cuz drifting an FWD is unnecessarily hard. But in AutoX the Civics and CRXs are almost always faster than even the S13, i see few S14s but i doubt they would deck the superlightsDrag Racing maybe, but hey theres tons of FWD drag cars that deck most SXs easily

24john, what do you do with ur SX that made you realize your RWD car was better than any/every FWD one?

I used to have a Volvo 850 turbo. When turning right from a light onto highways or whatever, when you give it gas, the wheels skip and stuff, I THINK this is called torque steer (not really sure, just assumed thats what its called). I thought it was really annoying because, for me at least, it was harder to keep the car in the direction that I was turning it in because the wheels kept slipping. In my 240 however, that problem ceases to exist. And even though I don't drift or whatever, have the option to is a nice thing . Its not really a fanboy thing, its just a nicer drive imho. Although, the 240 is worth nothing in the snow.

To the OP, for a daily, I'd do the sentra. Its faster, and the 240 is pretty much stock from what I can see. rock the sentra, they seem like fun little cars. If you feel the urge, buy another 240 later on for the weekends

I see, so you have reason to hate on the Volvo 850 which just so happened to be FWD.Well that makes sense, but i dont think it justifies someone blindly saying RWD>FWD everytime. (not you specifically, but people)

I never used to mind people making such comments, but now i drive an FWD N14 and i really love the car, it handles like a dream, is reliable and pretty quick off the line. Ive never suffered torque steer in it, but then again its stock to the teeth.

I asked the question cuz i really am curious as to why people hate on FWD so much when i love it.

P.S I dont hate RWD, my S13 is still my favorite car, but the N14 isnt automatically shiet just cuz its FWD.

I Agree, Alot of people don't understand, or choose not to even comprehend, that both RWD and FWD have there advantages and Disadvantages, it depends what you want to do with your car and such, I Personally prefer FWD, but i grew up on it as a FWd was my first car, does not mean i hate RWD, i also love RWD and would not turn it down for a FWD car, as i said i would have to consider the uses and such.I Personally though love AWD and would take anycar with awd over both those
