1994 sentra missing at higher rpm will idel but want run past 50 mph

The motor missing at higher rpm. It runs and idles fine but when youget to about 50 mph it cuts out. I am at a lost.

Check plugs, plugs wires, distributor cap and coil.

We tried all of the above. We put new plugs, wires, distributor cap andcoil but still no luck. We have noticed access liquid coming out of the tail pipe. Do you think having the car put on one of the diagnostic machines like at Autozone would help us in finding out the problem. I hate to trash the vehicle It runs fine until you get to about 50 miles per hour and that is it. It will not go any faster

Try regrounding the MAF and checking TPS. Your cat could be clogged as well. You sure it is firing on all cylinders?

Can you tell me a websight to find out where the TPS is located. Would a book on the 1984 Sentra tell me. I could buy a book I guess. We have a 1993 Sentra and my husband has been taking the parts off it and putting them on the 1984 so far the parts have fit. He was going to try changing out the TPA tonight and see if that would work.
