Im sure it will fit fine, but it wouldn't be an easy swap.

If you wanted 400-450HP, it would be considerably easier to turbocharge or supercharge the VH45.

If you know how to weld I'd go the LS motor route..

5.3 and 6.0 GM truck motors can be had cheap in junk yards and all the LS parts (cams, intake manifolds, etc.) fit. They are easy to tune too. The 5.3's are popular for turboing and the 6.0's there's some of both. Plenty of guys making crazy power with either one.

LS1tech.com - plenty of info and swaps - for example there's a sleeper 540 with an LSX in it on there - and yes all the electronics work, speedo works etc.

of course if you are a Nissan purist I may have just offended you! Don't get me wrong, I love Nissans - it's all I've owned, but the maintenance, $ and HP aspect of the modern GM V8's is crazy.

Personally, I'd turbo a 6.0, drop it in an early 90's Q and have a 600+WHP Q... of course you'd have to cut up the rear wells and put gigantic tires out back :chuckle:

Wow, almost as much as a stock 4.4L M5/6 engine! Why not a tractor engine? Those have to be even larger!

S63B44Tü, which produces 560 hp (418 kW) and 502 lb·ft
Actually a bit more HP than what a new M5 motor puts out and more TQ. Plus an older 540 would be considerably lighter.

You'd still have to do plenty of cutting and welding to get a VK56 in there.. You'll have to make new engine mounts and exhaust minimum..

:lolling: :rotflmao

a Detroit 6v92 Turbo would decimate all... after about $10grand... :rotfl

Seriously... buy the VK56. Hack up your frame and bay all to crap to fit its fast-food-eating trailer-park wide a** in there, spend thousands on custom parts to make it work, then come back and tell us how it will destroy the VH45. Of course it will. I know that VK is stupid powerful/fast in the big Titan, so i can only imagine it'd be balls out in the Q.

BrewQ- BLASPHEMY!! If you put an American motor in the Q i will drive to TX JUST to slap you :slap:

lol, nope Suzie is staying her fine self. At some point I'd love to turbo her, but that'll have to wait until the student loans are gone, ugh.

Now a turbo VH 3rd gen maxima? a 3200 lb car and 400+ whp :chuckle:
