If you're sure you have all of the bolts out, then you may have to give it some gentle persuasion... remembr that it's "glued" on with RTV.

You can download the FSM at http://www.phatg20.net

5 bolts as i recall. i leave them in with 2-3 threads only engaged, and rap it with the deadblow to pop the rtv without sending it flying.

careful, especially on aftermarket---the 90-93 have a different (shorter) snout, even though it will bolt right on.

probably a weak fuel injector about to fail OR borderline bad electrical connection about to go completely. Even a small amount of crud on the intake valves will funk up the idle--ESPECIALLY with a weak fuel spray from an injector. Symptom is: Runs fine just off idle, seems to miss at idle--Idle speed controller opens a bit to maintain idle speed--increasing fuel flow a smidgen-miss stops, idle speed increases, idle speed controller closes to drop speed-miss returns-repeat repeat, somtimes with significant surging ad IAC cannot manage the rapid changes.

well texas pretty much have no idea what you just said lol. but yea thats the basic symptom. not a misfire but just if i put the pedal down it bucks and then i just hold the same pressure on the pedal and then the car will just go like it should be. i also am thinking fuel. i have a check engine light on in the process of doin that. how do i check it myself? thanks
