1994 Q45a : Slow starts on cold mornings

Just had used motor put in car. Motor sounds great and plenty of power.But in the morning car turns over slow. New battery recently installed in car.Have to pump throttle to get car started. After first start, car starts with no problems rest of the day. Had new sparkplugs installed and coils check.

Sounds like an injector may be leaking overnight. Does it start faster if you hold the gas pedal down?

You hear any humming from the rear of the car...? Thats usually one of the first signs of fuel pump going out is the fuel pump going out...

DO HEAR HUMMING FROM REAR OF CAR, HEAR PUMPING NOISE AS WELL.WHERE IS THE FUEL PUMP LOCATED? CAN SMELL GAS TOO. CAR SEEMS TO BE FLOODED. WANT START AT ALL.

Fuel pump is located in fuel tank... lots of information on how to do a replacement at http://www.q45.org. If you can smell gas, you might have a bad o-ring on the fuel pump. I don't know a ton about this, but I know this is a common problem.

Do it soon... before it melts your FPCU.
