How difficult is it to remove plenum? What parts are needed? After browsing I found VH41DE and VH45DE. What does it relate to and what do I have?

You have the VH45DE.

Here's an illustrated guide on plenum removal:

Thats an easy one. You should see the 4.1.

Q45tech estimates VH41DE plenum removal at least 20% easier than on VH45DE.

Well, maybe looks can be decieving then.

The 4.1 looks 50% more difficult to me. I did take a plenum off of a 4.5 as well.

While the plenum is off, you really should consider some preventative maintenance - hoses, knock sensors and their wiring harness, leaking valve covers, spark plugs (they're buried under the covers), injectors, etc - do it all, or repeat the labor later.
