1994 Q45a Barn find (more like Garage find)

Hi everyone, just bought a 1994 Q45a about a week ago. It has 68000 miles on it. Yeah that is actual miles. One owner car with number matching engine and drive train. All the paper work intact, including receipts. The owner barely drove it and when he did, it was mostly highway miles. Took it to the mechanic and he didn't believe it either,neither did the insurance guy or emissions guy Lol. It was pretty hilarious.The car didn't need anything, even an oil change, coz that was done about three months ago. Did the oil change anyways and a couple of other things, but nothing serious so far, fingers crossed. But I have to admit if I had this car, I would have definitely put more than 68000 miles on it in 19 yrs. Well, I am not complaining. The car is special when it comes to big saloons, with that skinny steering wheel and all that mass. Yup, its different.

Gotta love one owner garage queens. Did the seller mention how long it had been sitting?

Thats the thing, the owner has driven it occasionally just so it doesn't sit there forever. And when he couldn't, he had his daughter drive it. He was really attached to the thing and wasn't too pleased in seeing it go. It was due to health reasons he had too let it go, if you see what I mean. So to answer your question, maybe 2 months or three, but in that time frame it was driven, for how long and how far I don't know.

Wow that's really cool. Once you get it all cleaned up, you should bring it back and show it to the guy. I bet he'd like to see his old friend returned to it's former glory.
