I just bought this 1994 Q45a with 135k. Car is in good shape except terrible ride! The ACTSUS light is on, and the computer will not enter diagnostic mode.

I have disconnected the battery to try and clear any codes with no joy. I have read that the accumulators go bad on these cars after 100k, if I replace them does that fix the crappy ride?

Thanks.

Replacing the accumulators and other related owrn suspension components will bring your suspension back to life. have you checked the fluid level?

Yeah!

I found a wrecked 92 Q45a, and grabbed the ACTSUS computer and some other misc stuff for $40. I swapped out the computer and now my ACTSUS actually works!!!!!

Ride height control now active. Computer will enter diagnostics mode (all 5s). Now the ride is hugly improved, but still not ideal. Lots of vibration riding down the road, that wasnt there before. What casues all the vibration in Active mode?

you really do need recharged accumulators. go to'activesuspensionsystems.com' and read all about it.

Anyone have a good 94 ACTSUS computer? Most wrecking yards I call have no idea what a Q45a is.
