1994 Q45 Turn Signal Indicator Lights On and Chime Doesn't work

Postby tegva » Tue Jul 23, 2019 8:43 am

For some reason the turn signal indicator lights on the dash are on when headlights lights are on and the chime alerting that the lights were left on doesn't work anymore. The lights and turn signals work fine but having the indicator lights on anytime I am driving at night and no warning when leaving the lights on is annoying. I don't see any fuses broken or any obvious damage to wiring. Anyone run across this issue?

I would check your front turn signal bulbs. If there is a short between the pins on the bulb, or internally, it could cause voltage from your running lights to feed over to the turn signal circuit.
