1994 Q45 - need replacement LCU and driver's side window mo

Hi,

I went through all the diagnostics on both doors and it looks like I need a new window motor for the driver's side door - the last "reman" is apparently crap - the new one is $377 from the dealer in Phoenix.

The rear driver's side LCU is $1223 from the dealer. For this one, I may just look to find a used one.

Anyone have any suggestions that might save me money - as far as where to acquire the parts at a halfway reasonable price?

What are the symptoms? Can you hear the window motor trying to work? Have you taken the door panel off and looked at the regulator plastic cable connections? Unless there's more to the story it's more likely the LCU or the window regulator (not both), but not the window motor.

All 90-96 use the same motor and regulator. They should be easy to find and cheap in the Infiniti parts forum. The LCU is only in the 94-96, is specific to each door and a little tougher to find in the parts forum. Try ebay, car-parts.com or your local salvage yard.
