Tech's suggestion is the preferred method but may take a while. A simple ckeck to rule out a blown relay is in the engine compartment fuse box to swap the AC relay with the cruise control (CC) relay (I believe their both blue and if so are the same relay). If your CC starts working and your AC quits you've found the problem. If this doesn't work follow the diagnostic procedure in the FSM. Good Luck.
