Hello Everyone,
I am new to Nico and I am still learning how to use this site. I have a 1994 Infiniti Q45 with 187K on it that I am in the process of changing the fuel injectors on. I figured with the time involved better to change all of the injectors at once instead of repeating steps down the road. As I am sure many of you can expect I have run into several other matters and this has been one hell of an adventure.

While I have everything torn apart, I was wondering if there was by chance a place I can get a hose kit to replace all of the vacum and coolant hoses? I have started looking around but have had no such luck.

Thank you for your help,

M

yes, it is about $1000 at www.everythinginfiniti.com { which is at least 20% cheaper than your local dealers parts department price} it is called the "under plenum kit" and comes with hoses{there are about 35 of them under the plenum} and 2 knock sensors and harness.....be sure to add the pcv valve and throttle body and aac valve gaskets to your order. good time to consider doing sparkplugs and valve cover gaskets while you are in there.....I had o2 sensors done at same time

I am in the middle of my under the plenum job to change my injectors at 189K miles on my 1994 Q45! I placed an order at my local dealer for the usual gaskets and hoses to change during this job. They gave me a nice discount per part to bring it close to what Scottsdale Infiniti quoted with no delivery charge and faster delivery!
But the order was way too small to include all these hoses I realize! It probably has the gaskets but doubt it has all the hoses.

Now that I pulled my plenum off, I had to cut 3 hoses but pulled most others off. Although the hoses in general did not look too brittle or damaged, I guess I should change them!

Any advice? How do I find the under plenum kit online? I searched www.everythinginfiniti.com / infinitipartsusa.com but cannot locate anything like that!

Thanks.

If you can read a Microsoft Excel 2003 file, I can send you a spreadsheet, sorted by part number, with prices of all the hoses and related parts that I purchased for my injector, under plenun hose, and timing chain upgrade project with diagrams that show pictures of the hoses and parts. You can follow the part numbers on the diagrams to see if you need additional parts. I picked up a plenum from a 94 that someone had pulled off and put in its trunk at a pull-a-part yard. It looks like all of the hoses are connected. I can snap a picture of it if you need it as a reference.

Send me a PM with your email address if you need me to send this information. I aim to publish this for the club once I get mine back together.

Here's the link. You'll see it towards the bottom of the page:

Provide them with your VIN to make sure you get the right kit. I had to get more things that are not included in their kit so make sure you check what's in the kit and what you might want to add on such as what qship96 suggested.
