So I'm brand new here and I need some help.

I was on my way home and and while under normal acceleration and my gas pedal all of the sudden had no tension on it what so ever. Traction control and slip lights are on. Also I looked under the dash and it seem like there is a solenoid the hits the pedal that isn't sprinting back out. I looked on a few forums and it seems like it's the throttle position sensor but I'd like some second opinions before I purchase the part for 320$

Also I checked my throttle cables and they all seem to have tension on them.

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure how far you have gotten with this, but could you confirm either by partner or video camera that the throttle plate does actually open when you push the pedal?

You could just look at the linkage on the throttle body, but I'd do better and remove the intake tube to see.

So, your car still runs and drives well, the pedal just feels loose, correct?
