1994 Q45 Front Chrome Grille Fell Off

Hey guys, this morning when I closed my hood to check all my fluids my front grille fell completely off. The plastic clamps and mounting parts have become brittle and have broken off the chrome grille. Has anyone had this problem?

Hmm ive never heard of this... However, heres how I would re-attach it.. Grab a tube of RTV and put it on the grill where the grill touches metal.. that stuff does a pretty good job at holding ornaments on...

I had that problem. Three of the 6 clips were broken and the grille rattled. Bought a parts car and used some clips off of it. I wasn't able to price it at the stealership but you'd probably have to buy a grill to get the clips.

I see you're looking for a replacement grill in the parts forum. Did yours get damaged in the fall or are you just looking for clips? Send me an email if you like, I may be able to help with some of it.
