Hi, I have a 94 Q45 and I heard squealing frictional noise from the front brake when I am braking at low speed and RPM, I check the rotors and they are kind of loose, maybe that is the problem other than the brake pads. I would like to know how could I make the rotor more stable so they don't wobble. Thank you for your help.

When did you change your rotors and pads last?

Rotors are held tight in place by the wheels [inner surface against rotor hat] via lug nut torque.

Watch out for discount and generic shops................Q require time and expense they won't provide, especially in areas of oem pads and high quality rotor metallurgy.

I have a similar issue. My brakes rattle, unless I apply the brakes. My understanding was that the torque is 85lbs. Is this correct? I also had my brakes done recently but even before the new pads, the rattling was already happening. Any suggestions?

Hi, Thanks for the reply, could it be simply the front brake pads or pad material that is too worn or too old or just the rotor that is actually rattling? I am thinking about the pads. I think I should change them to see what happen. Thank you for the input.
