1994 Q45 Check Engine Light

My check engine light comes on at random. The car runs great with the exception of one day it had a vibration for about 10 seconds on the highway. Sometimes I will smell a weird "burning" type odor when I get home. It is at 166 thousand miles. I recently had the oil changed and a new battery installed. Any help would be appreciated. I did call an Infiniti dealer and another place who does imports. The trick is to make sure that the light is on when I get there and that always does not happen. Any feedback would be great! I appreciate it!!

Even if the CEL comes on it will store a code, at least it should anyway...

At any rate, its likely an injector related problem. check out Q45.org.
