Does anyone know of an aftermarket HVAC Blower Motor that fits the 93-96 Q45? Or a source for a rebuilt OEM motor? The OEM motor includes a rectangular opening in the motor casing. The opening faces to the driver's side when the blower is mounted in the evaporator housing, and receives a short ventilation hose that attaches to a nipple in the evaporator housing. All the replacements I've found (Four Seasons, VDO and Delco) are made in the same plant in Canada. They all have an opening in the motor casing, but when the motor is mounted to the evaporator housing in the only orientation allowed by the three mounting screws, the opening in the blower motor casing faces right instead of left. I'd rather find the right motor than fabricate a modified ventilation hose, but a new OEM seems crazy expensive. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried to have the motor rebuilt?

How much from IoS?

Open to suggestions for possible electric motor rebuilders. The commutator and brushes are worn out, but the bronze bearings and everything else are fine.

Didn't check Scottsdale, but published prices elsewhere were $186-$225.

Not sure on your location, but most mid-sized and up towns have at least one "old school" electrical rebuilder. They're usually in an industrial area near downtown, and have been in business forever... Might check the yellow pages for alternator rebuilding.
