1994 Nissan Altima Dies while driving

My car is a 1994 nissan Altima GXE, and before the battery died HAHA..The car would just die while driving.When i would start totry to start it, it would make a I think i can sound but would never really start? I would have to wait between 2-5 mins for it to start back up and further down the road it would do the same, just die. I was just wandering if any one would know what this could be, i love my car, even tho it has been naughty to me Ive had to put a transmission in it, several alternators, Distrubuter (the 2nc day i had the car go figure!) Im stupid when it comes to cars, but maybe someone could point me in the right direction before shelling out alot of denro...Much Thanks, Sorry for my bad spelling

Question for you. Did you try to let it warm up until really hot and when it finally dies unplug the feul filter. Be careful not to splash gas everywhereMy car has the same probleme and I am still looking for the answer.One more thing I noticed that in the case of my car it would start stalling when the choke would be off. Any way let me know. Some one told me it could be the intake gasket that is letting to much air in. Who knows
