1994 Mxima sohc timing belt

I have a 1994 Maxima i'm trying to replace the timing belt. I have the timing at TDC put belt on the three lines are on the marks both camshafts and the crankshaft turn the crankshaft twice the camshafts and the crankshaft are still at TDC, but the belt lines are not on the marks. HELP!

Don't worry, when you put the belt on and the marks line up you've got it in time. You have to turn the crank a certain number of times before they line up again so no worries.

thanks so much. 1? what if one camshshaft and the crankshaft lines up and the other camshaft is three to four teeth off?

As far as the marks on the belt or the dimples on the cover? If its the belt then its no problem as those marks on the belt should only be referenced when putting the belt on. Once you start spinning it, the marks on the belt have no bearing on the timing.

If you want to make sure that it is in time just spin it and check to see if the dimples line up (they won't be exact but will be in the vicinity).
