Saw this ad on Craigslist where someone is selling a 94 J30T with 299,000 miles on it for $1400, and claims it is still running strong. I have 199,523 miles on my own 94 J30T, and was thinking of selling it when it hit 210,00 miles and needed its next timing belt change, but after reading about one going 299,000 miles maybe I should keep it a while longer. I read of a J30 with over 500,000 miles on it and it supposedly still had its original engine and transmission.

you can make any car run forever as long as you take care of it properly and change the oil on time. i would keep your current J30 cause i have a 94 also with almost same miles and its been through h@ll and back and its still running like a new car and getting great gas mileage. my advice: well keep it lol ive almost gotten rid of mine but good choice to keep it cause i like it.

The rear struts on our track car came off of a cash for clunkers car found junked at the local pick and pull, the odo read 326,000, car looked lots better then you would expect, we now have 25+ hard race hours on them.

To be eligible for a cash for clunkers credit your car had to run and drive and be registered continuously for the last 12 months.
