Ok guys, I am not going to make your eyes bleed with a life story of the car, but was curious of your opinions and personal experiences with similar symptoms to this exact vehicle.

Idle: steady miss

throttle response: poor

cruising: random miss

WOT: runs very well

Service engine light: not illuminated.

I am very mechanically inclined, but humble enough to know that others who have experienced similar issues may be able to keep me from chasing my tail.

Thanks in advance for any input.

You should probably ohm out all six Injectors.
If they test OK get a bottle of redline SL7 from pep boys and add to a 1/2 full tank of premium and drive it like you stole it.
Also have you replaced the spark plugs ?
If so were they NGK PFR5G-11's ?
Any other will cause some weirdness.

I haven't done anything to the car except replace the fuel lines going in to the rail that were leaking. I was practically given this car and plan to get it running smooth for a daily commute. Just hard to get motivated when you work on cars all day lol.

I did pull a plug real quick to check them. I remember it was a bosch plug. Cause first thing that came to my mind was not an NGK lol.

I'm just making a list of where to start. I'll grab a set of NGK's and definately test the injectors. Thanks.

sparkplug.com has them at a pretty good price.
Be sure and get the double platinum PFR5G-11's as the engine was designed to use them.
I didn't have a miss but when I replaced them last year it made a HUGE difference with idle smoothness and Mileage.

Have you tried the seafoam treatment. Cured similar issues with many cars including a J30. Worth a try, as seafoam is cheap at hardware stores.
