1994 Infinity J30

Hello, I just got a 1994 Infinity J30 and I am having a hard time starting my car due to security system. Can you guys and gals please help? When I try to start car the security light goes on, I called the dealer and they told me to put the key in the drivers side door and turn key to right twice and that should be it but, I still can not start car. Another guy told me to open trunk with key and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas?

Guys I need help starting 1994 J30. Security light goes on and car wont start. It cranks but, does not start. It was turning on fine till I took it to paint shop and have not been able to shut down security system. Factory installed system.

If you lock the car down and then unlock the drivers or passenger side door with the key it should shut the security system off ..If the horn isnt honking I wouldnt think the alarm is shutting the Ignition down ..Anybody think Im wrong ??

I might add that my 94 doesnt have a switch on the trunk .. Only the hood ..I shut my door one day and dint lock it ..came back later and opened the door and wammo ..Horn started honking and I couldnt do squat ..Didnt know it auto sets after so many minutes ..Unhooked the battery to stop the horn and called the Infiniti dealer thinking I had to get the alarm keychain dealie .. she kinda giggle and said just unlock the drivers door and it should stop .. I did and it did ..Mind you all this happened after I had a aftermarket security system in .. lol At least I now have a shock sensor as well
