Besides the dealer, the most economical way is to buy a JDM take out engine for $1500 and pull heads or just swap entire engine.

Because of the time required to deal with timing chain et al it is faster to swap the engine.

Why do you need new heads [other than oil abuse or an overheat--which destroys the block and bearings].

Experience has shown that well maintained heads easily last 250,000 miles.

The parts ALONE to rebuild: HLA and valve stem seals plus cams cost way more than an entire JDM take out engine shipped and delivered.

It actually takes longer to swap heads than to swap engine.

I have swapped a couple Q45 motors and definitely agree that it is quicker to swap the whole motor (still a involved job) on the other hand I have a few heads that I would be happy to be relieved of for the cost of shipping only.

Wouldn't high RPM piston - valve contact/impact also damage the head excessively?

If the original poster doesn't take you up on the offer, does the offer still stand?

I could use a couple of heads to experiment with

How much do you think the siamese port heads would run shipped to 32608?

If you want, feel free to hit me up on aim/yahoo im, or email me, [email protected] .

I just shipped a 300zx yoke and it was 25$ and was only going half as far.

I am shipping from 85387--What would be the cheapest ground/freight shipping? Do you want both heads or just one to mess with?

Sorry I haven't replied in awhile, been a little busy with my 240 project, (trying out paint schemes),.

If they're still available, I would need a left bank and a right bank.

Cheers,-Antonio

The heads are from a 93 and the motor ran when pulled. E-mail me @ [email protected] and I can get them to you.
