1994 INFINITI J30 FUEL INJECTOR

Hello everyone, I'm new to the NICOclub forum. I've read numerous post on the J30, but none has seemed to help me with my problem. When I start my car there is a ticking sound and it shakes badly. While driving I've noticed that it hesitates to the point it wants to cut off. I took it to the Infiniti dealership last week and had a diagnostic done ($110) which informed me that fuel injector #4 is GONE!!! They wanted to charge me $1800 to replace that one fuel injector, but after speaking with a friend he said that he could do it, but we are having problems locating the injectors. He said that he was use to injectors being noticable on the side of the manifold. I've also changed my spark plugs and coils. Is there anyone here that can assist me with my problem.

Here's a link to the Injector "How To" without pulling the intake Plenum.
That's why the dealership quote was so high.
Pulling the Plenum is quite a job !!
