hey guys, i'm new here and tried searching but not finding what i'm looking for. so hopefully i'll get all my questions answered in this post.

just bought my 94 hardbody 4cyl 5 speed and looking to do some upgrades to it.

looking to put a header and full open exhaust on it and maybe some kind of cold air intake just so everything can breathe a little better. i dont know where to look for a header and was gonna get local shop to do the exhaust.

is there anything else you can do to these trucks to get more out of them?

thanks for your time and look forward to hearing your ideas.

also truck only has 86k miles on it.

I have a 97 hardbody. There is only one brand of exhaust header and cold air intake made for the truck. The header is called" Pacesetter" you can find it on ebay and summit racing.com. The cold air intake is made by"secret Weapon R" and is about $400 which i think is outrageous. You can also find that on ebay. However i fabricated one almost exactly like it for $50 there is nothing to it if you can weld a little.

cold air intakes are high and gain little power a cheap alternative is a washable filter I got one ordered from advanced auto it is a specter 25 bucks same as K&N but half the cost, it is just a replacement for stock but allows better breathing and you never have to buy another air filter. There are few mods for good HP gain without spending some real money.
