1994 g20 A/C only works on high (#4)

I have a 1994 infiniti G20, and recently this happened, where the A/C only works on High (#4), I had an earlier post and I did not get any responses, i am hoping someone can assist me with this. I replaced the climated control unit, the fan blower and the resistor(not sure if this is the name though, but its found next to the fan blower) and still no use. A friend mentioned something about a relay but I have no idea what it is and where its found on my car....Please someone assist me.Thanks

Thanks for the reply, however, the FSM documents only show how they work, they do not address if there's an issue or if something is not working. I am still stuck with no solution...please someone advise.

I'm not sure about the G20 but the Q45 has a fan control amplifier which when faulty will only allow the blower to run on high speed no matter what the setting. Check out the pic I attached. If the G20 has this amp it should be in a similar location behind the glove box.

Thanks for the reply, however, next to the fan blower i have changed a resistor and I am not sure if thats what you mean by amplifier...i will check and hopefully that works....once again thanks for the post.

It's not really a resistor but a Darlington transisitor bridge.

Doesn't G20 FSM have trouble shooting diagnostic procedures like other Infiniti FSM?
