1994 conversions

Can I put a jdm engine/transmission into the 1994 convertible? Is there any reason I shouldn't, only thing I can think of is it would be a bit heavier. Also with a 94 am I doing a s14 conversion or s13 - Are the engines interchangeble with the different years?Sorta new to the silvia scene but I'm looking at getting a 94 vert with 93k on it, single owner ($4400). Any input would be much appreciated - HB

The only real obstacle would be changing the car to a manual by doing a auto > manual swap (no big deal). The 1994 240SX would be considered an S13. The S13 and S14 engines are pretty much the exact same with some electrical differences and mechanical diffs like the larger turbo on the S14.
