I've been searching around quite a bit for any info on the compatibility of the #62 Redtop ECU on my 1994 Blacktop motor with an OEM wiring harness. I have been swapping over my Miata to an SR20det, and I'm down to needing an ECU that is stock, and a FMIC. What is the downside of using the #62 ECU instead of the E5? because I cannot find an E5 for sale ANYWHERE. thanks in advance, and I apologize if someone knows of a direct link to answer this question.

Redtop ECU's will run blacktop S13's fine. The O2 sensor may or may not work.

No, heated is fine. The pins on the ecu are where in different places.
