I have a fuel injection assembly from a 94-96 Q45 that I am going to be swapping onto my car. The problem I have is that some of the plastic rings that surround the tip of the injector nozzles are broken. They don't seem to hold the tip on so I was wondering if they are necessary for the function of the injector? I know that they must have served some purpose but if it will not affect the performance of them then will it be ok to install?

I'd check with www.deatschwerks.com and see if they can shoot you a set. Like you said, they must serve some purpose...

Also saw these. http://tradergreg.ecrater.com/p/1199119 ... tor-pintle
