1994 300zx not starting/ no power at all Help!

Hello again, I drove my Z all day yesterday, parked it, came back outside and turned on the cars electric, but not the engine. I had all my dash lights on and everything lighting up and when I tried to actually start the car, the car would not turn over, but it clicked for a little bit and now the car is completely dead with no power at all, just silence, everything just shut off. Then, I went inside my house for a bit, came back outside tried to start the car again, as soon as I sit in the car the security light is blinking and the light on the floor come on, but the seemed a little dull, when I tried starting the car again, the car was dead, nothing, again no power at all, no lights, nothing. I couldn't believe that I was able to drive the car all day, I was fortunate that this issue happened in front of my house. I haven't tried jumping the car yet, but I'm going to try and jump it as soon as I can tomorrow. Can anyone please help me with any suggestions as to what my Z's issue could be? Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated.

Your battery is probably dead. Could just be an old weak battery, or it could be an alternator problem.

Thanks, I open the hood and it was a loose negative battery connector, went to autozone and purchased a new one. Installed and the car is running fine now. Thank You again!
