Hi,

I am new to Nissans. This is my first import and I must say they are great cars!

Anyway, I am on a tight budget and I need 4 new struts for my 1993 Nissan Maxima SE. I dont race or anything! Were can I buy the best struts for the lowest price?

Thanks

ebay, look at tokico hp struts - stiffer ride than stock and pretty low price for all 4 - you won't be disapointed.

Tokico's seem to do well. I just replaced my Illuminas with HP's.

If you buy Tokicos or KYB, get them from a local, reputable dealer.

Especially if you lower your car (lowering springs), all struts have a greater likelihood of blowing. I know Tokico has a lifetime warranty and I believe KYB does, too.

If you buy them from a reputable place, it will be much easier to get replacements if they blow.

I have Tokicos with Eibach springs and (knock on wood) no problems in over 3 years with them on.

The best struts for a 3rd gen are Konis. They are adjustable and built for racing. No one makes a legitimate coil over for the 3rd gen, either.
