So i pulled my upper mani off to put on a direct port nos kit, everything went well, after i got it all back together things ran well, today about about 101 and i noticed while sitting at a light my temp gauge was at HIGH totally pegged.. so i pulled over things under the hood were fine no smokeing or anything

so i got back in cranked the heat on and turned the ac on even though my condensor and pump are missing i hope it would turn the electric fan on. so then everthing went back to perfect.. i got home noticed the coolant was low some air bubbles escaped my bleeding, so i filled it up.. on another outing same day i notice the temp is back pegged at high so i turn on head and ac again things go back to normal so i took a chance and turned them off and it stayed at normal for the remainder of my drive (10 min or so throught town)

another thing i noticed is when the gauge would react VERY fast after fans went on it would take less 5 seconds for it to return to normal after turning the fans on, the coolant is full and new so im kinda stumped.. and there was no issues previous to the install and i have yet to use the NOS because of an empty tank..

The coolant system most likely has air pockets.

Your best bet may be to drain down the coolant and start all over again with the filling of the coolant. Here's how I do it:1 - drain coolant2 - open the bleeder screw3 - optionally jacking up front of car helps to purge air pockets4 - fill system until coolant starts coming out the bleeder hole5 - close bleeder screw (not too tight; screw is easy to break off)6 - continue filling until coolant is at the bottom of the filler neck7 - do not put cap on the radiator8 - start motor; as coolant starts to warm up, you may see a few air bubbles9 - squeeze the hoses by hand to free up possible air pockets10 - put cap on radiator

It does help to raise the front of the car up while you fill up the coolant. Remember to have the climate control stuff set to HOT and to open up the breather screw. Fill till the coolant pops out of the breather screw and cap it. Pour in more coolant till it won't take any more and then on with the squeezing the hoses and start and stopping the engine madness. If you like you can do that at night where the air is colder and the coolant will take less volume.
