1993 Sentra SE-R air intake temperature sensor

Can't find it, I replaced the original air filter w/ a K&N filtercharger i'm not sure if i somehow misplaced the temperature sensor when I did this or not, I'm tryin to put a chip in my car now and I need to find this sensor to do it, anyone know where it's located? Also my temperature gauge has not been working lately I took off the Fast Idle Control Device and cleaned off the ground and the gauge worked for about 10 minutes then dropped down to cold and stopped working again, should I replace the FICD or is it another problem? if anyone knows I'd appreciate the help.
