My temp gauge stopped working a few months ago. I just assumed the sensor was loose because I had modified it a bit when I did my swap. Yesterday I finally put my meter on it to surprisingly find 280 ohms between the sensor and ground, so its fine. I tried grounding out the plug right there, but the gauge did not move, so I most likely have a crack in the wire somewhere. Does anyone know the routing of this wire until it reaches the cluster? I'm going to ground it out at the gauge first just to make sure its actually still functional, but I want to avoid a lot of hunting if I can.

Did you check continuity from the plug and the gauge itself? I'm sure the FSM as a walkthrough for this too, which would give you a pretty good idea as to where the routing is.

Yes, there is none, which is why the gauge didn't move.

Finally found the routing in Alldata. Located the problem, and problem solved.
