I'm tinting the windows on my S13 this weekend, RIGHT NOW to be specific. Don't laugh, I'm experienced.

I'm trying to remove the rear seat belts so I can have a clear shot at the rear quarter window. FSM is no help.

I cannot figure out how to get the plastic cover off without breaking it.

I see two little plastic buttons on the bottom of the cover...it appears as though that's all that's holding this cover on. They WILL NOT budge...I even tried breaking them. These things are 12 years old and are apparently made out of some sort of plastic from the future because I CAN NOT get them off. They look just like little retainer buttons

Someone help!!! I'm tinting the front windows right now which should take about half an hour. If someone can give me a super-fast reply, I would really appreciate it!

Take it easy,Bryan.

there should be a bolt somewhere on the top, pull the plastic down( if u can) and unbolt it from the bottom piece and that should be it..

hope that helps.

It just seems like the cover should come off and allow access to the bolt. I suppose I could bend the plastic and jam a socket in there...it's just I'm afraid of breaking these plastic pieces.

Yeah, and have to wait a week to get them for like $40 a piece....or have to go to a junkyard...yeah, it's a real option.
