1993 red top wiring help!!!

My harness was cut where it goes through the firewall to connect at the ECU. I think that is causing my problems. What colors go with what? For the problems that i am having i have tried everything i could think of and have narrowed it to a wiring problem. The guy that did it for me FU**ED it all up. He connected some wires that didnt need to be connected and connected wire together that should not have been together. Again...what wires (colors) go with what? Thanx!!!
