I saw a topic on a Q45 trans but still have a question myself. I have a 1993 q45 with 198,xxx. Does have tcs,, non turbo, no ride height adj. I have had the car for about 5 months now and the fluid does look a bit dark. If I remember correctly, does not smell that great but not horrible. I need to recheck that. I think someone overfilled before I got it. I have noticed inside the cabin near where the trans sits, it is starting to get warm under the carpet. Any need for concern? I would like to change the fluid, filter and such or do a bg flush with new fluid. Any ideas? Currently there are no shifting problems that I am aware of.Thanks.....Jason

change the fluid.. new fluid is always better than old fluid.

Its pretty typical for the tunnel to get warm, mine always did.
