Front springs are 143 pounds per inch and rears are 123. Info is spelled out in detail in your FSM.Since springs and shocks are vertical and mounted to hub directly there is very little geometric correction required unlike the post 2001 models.

It is the ratio that is important 54/46%, obviously you can utilize stiffer rates as long as you don't mind the harshness that increases with higher rates.

The front is already 143. Eibachs are 133-135 on front. Need to understand the purpose of changing springs, what you wish to accomplish. Lowering can reduce the body weight transfer load on the tire in a turn but the usual 1% change [15-20 pounds per front inch @ 0.8G] is not significant.

yeah i understand but im going with ground control springs.the coilover sleeves from them.think the 300zx would fit it?all they said is if it fits just to tell them the spring rate desired. What would you choose if you were to lower it?

I figure out the math later tonight.

With no adjustable sway bars spring rate selection is critical in setting the over, neutral, or understeer ratio.

The stock Q is set neutral from the springs with no rear passengers and half a tank of gasoline in the first 1" [0.3G] of body roll.

As the front sway bar uses up its rubber bushing slack it goes more towards understeer [0>15%] as the roll and G load increases.

The 95 [1521 pound] tire load index on front is what limits the peak G handing capability. Because the 1100 pound static load grows by 400+ pounds as the body rolls and weight transfers = overloading tire.

A 98 or 100 load index tire on the front will do more for peak handling ability than any suspension modification regardless of cost!
