I am in CA and just bought a '93 Q45 w/ 200K for $1000. Seems to run great, but no nothing about it! Someone broke out the rear passenger window and stole the map light console! I know nothing about what it looks like, all I have left is a hole with a plug an loose wires. Sunroof won't close all the way, I think the switch was on the console. No owner's manual. Can anyone tell me what it looks like, and a wiring diagram?

The map light console for a 1990-1994 (?) looks like this....

The sunroof switches are in the middle of this, one to completely open/close, and the other to tilt the rear open.

You'll probably find a wiring diagram in the FSM here

There should be a hex key in the jack kit in the trunk that will allow you to manually close the sunroof. With the dome light gone you should be able to see the sunroof motor and the hex fitting where the key fits. If the key is missing a standard hex bit fits (6mm?).

Where are you in CA? At the end of a dirt road sounds like somewhere in NorCal.

Thanks! Actually, last night I used a wratchet with an allen socket. Got the sunroof to open, found the track full of dirt, cleaned it out, and was able to totally close the roof! Yes, I'm in NorCal... SF Bay Area
Jack kit in the trunk??? I opened the trunk, on the left side there is an opening, cover is off.. can see the jack, but no idea how to get it out!

Are there any map light consoles that would be compatible with my '93 Q45. Having a hard time finding one, and need to get the wiring back. Someone stole the console out of the car, before I bought it, and I have bare wires hanging and one plug. I taped up the wires, but my power windows in the back, my mirrors and interior lights don't work! I am thinking I need to somehow get the continuity established again!
If I don't find a used console, any suggestions?
