Hello, my Q needs a tune up, nothing I havent done before. but when attempting to change the ignition coils, the plastic plug-in wires have become so brittle that they all broke up when I grabbed them to unplug them. Now they wont plug back in!!! Where can I get new plastic plug-ins for the ignition coils electrical wires?? And what would be the official terminology in case I have to call Infiniti dealer of this part?? Thanks!!

First, did you read in General Information how they operate? They are pushed in to release.

I don't know if they are available separately, or only part of the sub harness.

Call IOS and ask.

Of course I know how they operate, this is something I've done numerous times before. As soon as I grabbed the plastic piece is when the whole thing just disintegrated!! Hardly any pressure was applied, pushing or pulling!!

I've parted out 3 Q's and spark plug coil subharnesses always have the most brittle connections of all the ones on the engine. The 90-93 fuel injector harness is a close second. All that heat right next to the engine and little room to ventilate and cool off. There's a few sellers in the Infiniti Parts forum but you'd be inheriting more of the same problems. I think you're best bet is to buy new subharnesses from the stealership.
