1993 Pickup wiring diagram

My buddy is having big probs with his clutch cut out (?) switch. Can anyone help with either a wiring diagram for the 1993 2.4 pickup? Or can you explain where the switch is and the wire color if possible. It's driving him nuts (and subsequently me).

in my 91 the switch can be reached on the floorboard, he should be able to look up under the pedal and see the switch and the corresponding wiring. If switch is bad replace or do as I did in an older truck I had I removed switch and wired it together and did away with it. Careful when cranking as if it is in gear it will lurch. You get used to popping it in nuetral when cranking after 1 or 2 times it lurchs. Great thing is then you can crank truck without sitting in and pushing pedal down, but it can be dangerous if it is in gear when cranking.

The wiring should be the same for all years.
