Well guys I have had my 1993 Nissan Skyline GTS-T for about a year now and never got around to actually doing anything with it. Its currently in the US, but was imported through Canada by JDM Auto Depot.

I do not know what is involved with getting a US title, and at this point it seems easier for the car to go back to Canada to be sold.

What do you think I should do? Is there a market in the US for this sort of thing

Honestly, I would say to take it back up to Canada and sell it.

It's old enough up there to be completely legal, so that would give you some bargaining power on a reasonable price. Depending on the condition of the car, you might be able to get a decent amount of money for it, bearing in mind that it's not an R, though.

You also may not get back out what you paid for it, so be prepared to take a loss on it.

Trying to get it legal in the states is such a beat-to-death topic that it's just not worth it, in my opinion. Cut your losses (should you have any) and sell it up north.

And, if you have any other questions about registering it, be sure to read all the good information in the stickies here in this forum.

Welcome to NICO.

E-bay blows if you are trying to sell a Skyline. List it on Craigslist and specify that you will only sell to Canada. Be sure to tell them that the car needs to be registerd and what-not.

Got any pics of it? I could give you a ball park on what you might be able to get for it.

Judging by your pics if I had a super clean GTS-T like that here in Canada. I wouldn't ask any less then $8000, and I could probably get more but that's all ready in Canada. I don't know about the cost's of importing a car from the US. A guy's got to remember to Skylines are easy to get now a days in Canada. You can get a nice decent GTS-T for like $6-7000, so if there is any other costs in the importing of the car in to Canada a guys going to have to price the car low just to get interest from up here. That just my opinion though.

Miles or kilometers?

If it's KM, that is only 46,602.8 miles.

If it's miles, then it's 120,700.8 kilometers.

Anyway, as far as the car and pricing, it's very clean. But, unfortunatly, even here, a super clean stock Type-M is only grabbing about $2,500-$4,500. My friend is trying (still, I think) to sell his, but not sure if he has yet or not.

Modded cars sometimes get less than stockers do.

Considering you are selling to Canada, the car is already there in North America, I would say you're probably not gonna get much more than $7-$8K for it, realistically. Much like the post above me said. You might be able to get some JDM fanboi to buy it, but it's gonna be a tough sell, regardless. Start high, and set a minimum price for it, and maybe you can still get what you want for it.
