1993 Nissan Laurel Altima

I have a 1993 Nissan Laurel Altima(Cefiro A31), 2.4cc, 6 cylinder, non turbo, auto trans, with a Mikuni Carburator .The problem is that when the car is cold it starts to fail and the idle is very rough when I press some gas sometimes the engine turn off but when the engine gains some temperature(10-15minutes) the engine runs smoothly.I have change the distributor, sparkplugs and wires, the Mechanic check the carb and it seems to be OK.I need some advice.I have notice some high fuel cons.

Did you really say a 1993 carburated nissan???? I would say check your choke operation? Does this vehicle have some sort of early fuel evaperation (EFE)? Heated throttle grid underneath carb? if it does check that see if that is operating.
