I was reading the cam specs for a 1993 Ka24de in the Factory Service Manual (page 47 in the EM section) when I noticed that contrary to general belief, the Intake cam was 248 degs. and the exhaust cam was 240 degs.

This goes against everything I've heard before about swapping in two exhaust cams to get a 248/248 setup. According to page 47 EM of the factory service, swapping in two exhaust cams would actually result in a 240/240 setup! Who's right???

Mis-prints in factory manuals are much more common than you'd expect. This sounds like another example.

You're absolutely right! I did some math and there IS a typo.
